Scent is our oldest and most elusive sense. Patina is building the technology to understand it at the biological level. Mapping how molecules activate the receptors that produce smell, taste, and sensation. From that foundation, we discover and synthesize compounds that have never existed before.
Led by Sean Raspet and Laura Sisson, Patina combines deep expertise in molecular design, machine learning, and perfumery. We are not working to refine what already exists. We are building what comes next.
